Best Practices for Developing an Android Tablet Application Prasanna Perera
Presentation from Modev Tablet Conference, September 14, 2012. www.modevtablet.com
MoDev is much more than just another Meetup. We have grown from a grass roots organization of mobile developers to one of the leading mobile technology and business organizations in the country.
We will go through some of the best practices you need to follow when developing an Android tablet application. This presentation will be based on our experience developing a table version of an Android smartphone application used to monitor election results. We will cover the architecture and design of an Android tablet application and talk about important topics such as using the recently introduced Fragments to create layouts that work well on tablet platforms.
